Damn

His momma was right when she said
"Oh, my boy's so handsome--he's gonna break hearts!"
Guess she shoulda reached in her own gene pool,
changed the future--not for his sake. Maybe somehow cook
up a different recipe for a son who don't hurt nobody.
Steppin' on figures, number-crunching disadvantages to his
well-being.
Would really take some time on deciding whether he'd be so interested
he'd never get bored,
or so disinterested he's bored
all the time.

Momma shoulda changed her mind
about havin a repressed
ignorant
and steely guy like him come out.

Think of the father, every day asking his son
"Goddamit, boy, when you gonna thank me for
makin love to your momma to bring you about?"

Inconsiderate sot, that one.

Shoulda thought about that decision more.

Shoulda considered all the other people he might hurt.

Shoulda kept her legs shut.
I was thinking about something Fester from Adam's Family said in the first film, and at the same time, the girl in Rule of Attraction who stupidly slit her wrists over some boy.

Don't ask as to why I used a Squall icon. It fit at the time.

This is a really good one. I love your message here. The mom thinks her son so beautiful on the outside but doesn't anticipate he's ugly on the inside. Amen to her keeping her legs shut. So many people need to do that these days. That Squall icon is perfect for this because he is a pretty boy with problems. I'm adding this to another of my faves.
